Few days ago I went to a local musical instruments shop looking for an affordable archtop guitar. And I found one. It was an Epiphone Dot, selling for about $400.

The construction is similar to the legendary Gibson ES-335. It sounded pretty good: the humbuckers gave that warm jazzy tone that I wanted.
